Meet Sophia Lorhen-Easter Egger

Sophia is another of my "red headed" Easter Eggers.  Of course she is named after another beautiful red head Sophia Loren.  She is distinguishable by her lighter red body.  She is very shy like her sister Daphne, and tries not to get too close to me on my coop and run visits.

September 12th, 2013 - Sophia arrived at Hummingbird Hollow Hen House.  She was ordered from Murray McMurray Hatchery as a started pullet.  She was between 15 and 20 weeks old when she arrived.
January 2nd, 2014 - Sophia gives us our first blue egg!
