Meet Gwhen - Easter Egger
Gwhen is a white Easter Egger. She gets her name because Gwen means white and of course I took a little liberty with the spelling to add the word "hen" to her name.
Gwhen seemed to be one of the more aggressive birds the first few days after her arrival. She was certainly more "pecky" toward the other pullets. The first few days I referred to her as "meanie". But she has settled in nicely and is now one of the first 3 girls (along with Oprah and Gilda) to greet me and to get treats from my hand or lap.

Gwhen has very pretty coloring on her legs so I hope her eggs will be very beautiful.
Be sure to check back for future updates on Gwhen and check the other pages for updates on our other girls.
September 12th, 2013 - Gwhen arrived at Hummingbird Hollow Hen House. She was ordered from Murray McMurray Hatchery as a started pullet. She was between 15 and 20 weeks old when she arrived.
